A note about style and tone

You may notice that in parts of this site we’re unusually direct, and speak quite plainly. No BS. Just put it out there.

Why?

Because if we were a client working with a digital agency, that's what we would want. No song and dance, no dog-and-pony show. Just give it to us straight and to the point.

On complex projects that require great care and attention to detail, efficiency is very important. Clarity of communication becomes essential. And sometimes, achieving real clarity requires real honesty.

To be clear, it’s never okay to be so direct that you come off as an a**hole. A professional knows how to be very honest yet still respect others. Often, both sides know that ultimately, this honesty will be understood and appreciated.

We think it’s wise to explain this now, because we may not have time to explain it later.
